The brand is the creation of Jel, an intuitive guide, storyteller, and host of transformative wellness experiences. This is not just a business, but a deeply personal brand that stands as a testament to her own journey of self-discovery. Her core offerings are intimate, high-value workshops and international retreats in soulful locations like Ibiza and Spain. These experiences are designed as "turning points" for attendees, blending deep self-inquiry with the grounding power of nature and community.
The Ask
To build a strategic framework around a brand that already possessed a unique soul. The goal was to translate their powerful Instagram presence into a sustainable marketing ecosystem that could nurture its community and drive sales for high-value international retreats, all without losing its authentic, poetic voice.



The Approach: Brand & Visual Analysis
My approach began with a deep-dive analysis of the brand's existing visual and narrative identity. We deconstructed what made their content so compelling to build a strategy that amplified their strengths.
The brand's visual lexicon is built on a few key elements:
A Play of Light & Shadow: This is the core motif, symbolising the journey of bringing the subconscious into the light and finding clarity.
Earthy & Warm Palette: A foundation of sun-drenched terracotta, sand, and warm whites creates a feeling of grounding and calm, contrasted with stark black-and-white for emotional impact.
Abstracted Human Form: Figures are often blurred, in shadow, or partially obscured, making the stories feel universal and allowing the audience to see themselves in the narrative.
Bold Typography: A modern, all-caps sans-serif font creates a powerful juxtaposition against the soft imagery, symbolising the strength found in vulnerability.
The Challenge
The brand’s content was beautiful and resonant, a collection of visual diary entries that spoke to the heart of its audience. However, this artistic expression existed without a clear strategic funnel. The primary challenge was bridging the gap between inspiration and action - transforming passive followers into an engaged community and, ultimately, into retreat participants. We needed to build the commercial scaffolding around a creative soul.
The Strategy: From Mood to Movement
Instead of imposing a new identity, my strategy was one of brand archaeology. I excavated the core themes and visual language already present to build a purposeful content structure.
1. Defining the Narrative Pillars: We identified four key storytelling pillars that were already resonating deeply with the audience. This wasn't about creating new content, but about understanding the purpose behind the magic that was already there.
Introspective Prompts: Asking the deep questions.

Shareable Wisdom: The iconic "Real Flex" series.
Invitational Promotions: Framing retreats as a calling, not a sale.
2. Designing the Digital Sanctuary: The cornerstone of the strategy was to create a newsletter. This wasn't just an email list; it was conceived as a "digital sanctuary" - a private, intimate space away from the noise of social media. This channel would be used to deepen the relationship with the most dedicated followers, sharing exclusive reflections and offering first access to new retreats.

Power of Ownership & Authority: The website moves the brand from being a renter on Instagram's land to the owner of its own domain. It becomes the single source of truth, establishing unparalleled authority and building deep trust with the audience.
Power of the Unbroken Journey: It creates a seamless, intuitive path for a potential client. They can discover a resonant quote on Instagram, click a link, and arrive in a world that instantly feels familiar yet offers more depth. They can read the founder's story, explore the detailed itinerary of a retreat, and invest in their journey, all within one elegant, uninterrupted experience.
Power of the First Impression: The website becomes a tangible taste of the retreat experience itself. The intentional design, the calming user flow, and the thoughtful storytelling all serve as the first promise of the quality and care clients will receive in person. It professionally justifies the premium nature of the offerings.
Power of Conversion & Clarity: It replaces confusing DM chains with an elegant, clear, and secure booking system. It provides a home for testimonials, detailed FAQs, and long-form journal entries that allow for a level of storytelling impossible to achieve on social media alone, answering every question and calming every doubt before a client makes a significant investment in themselves.
